Young Diplomats Society

The Young Diplomats Society (YDS) is a co-curricular activity in Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) that aims to mould ACSians into student diplomats equipped with the skills of public speaking, debate, compromise, conflict resolution and negotiation in the field of current affairs. YDS fulfils these goals mainly through our members participating in Model United Nations (MUN) conferences. Beyond equipping our members with useful skills and unique experiences, we strive to be a warm society of students held together by a mutual love for learning.

Since its establishment in 2007, the Young Diplomats’ Society has grown from strength to strength, winning awards in prestigious local and overseas Model United Nations conferences. In addition, YDS hosts our signature event, International Model United Nations (IMUNC), every year in June here at ACS(I).
