Direct School Admission into ACS(I) (Year 5)

Direct School Admission-Junior College (DSA-JC) provides a pathway for students to gain direct entry into junior colleges based on their diverse talents and achievements, beyond their performance at the Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-Level Examination.

Students successfully allocated a school via DSA-JC will not be allowed to participate in the JAE as places have already been reserved for them in the DSA-JC schools. They will also not be allowed to transfer to another JC after the release of the GCE O-Level examination results. They are expected to honour their commitment to the DSA-JC schools.

Students may apply through DSA-JC to Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) for the listed specific talent areas. The final selection is dependent on various factors such as the number and quality of applications received, the school’s talent requirements, the availability of suitable candidates and vacancies. There is no guarantee that at least one offer will be granted for every listed talent area as selection is dependent on these factors.

Applicants who want to participate in Anglo-Chinese School (Independent)’s DSA-JC exercise can apply through ACS(I) DSA-JC Portal under ONE talent domain only.

MALE applicants with the following talent domains will be considered:

Golf (a Golf handicap of not more than 9)
Leadership
Mathematics
Music Elective Programme (required to offer Music Higher Level as 6th subject in Year 5 and Year 6; and take up a Performing Arts CCA)

Sailing
Science
Shooting
Softball
Squash
Swimming
Tennis
Track and Field
Water Polo

FEMALE applicants with the following talent domains will be considered:

Bowling
Leadership
Music Elective Programme (required to offer Music Higher Level as 6th subject in Year 5 and Year 6; and take up a Performing Arts CCA)
Netball
Robotics
Softball
Squash
Swimming
Tennis
