 ABOUT

The MethodistWalk is a biennial fundraising activity organised by the Methodist Schools’ Foundation (MSF), on behalf of the Methodist schools in Singapore. Traditionally, on the last Saturday in March, student representatives from all 15 Methodist schools gather with teachers, family members and supporters from the Methodist churches, to walk together and raise money for the individual needs of their schools.

Due to safe-distancing regulations amid the ongoing pandemic, MethodistWalk 2021 will be conducted in a different format.

WALKING IN STEP WITH ACS(I)

For the physical component of the Walk, instead of gathering with other schools at the end of March, each school will be embarking on its own distance-based goal. For ACS (Independent), our distance-based goal is 135 km per class. A total school target of 13,500 km will be clocked during PE lessons with running as part of the activity.

For fundraising, instead of a pledge card, MSF has set up a campaign page for each school on the fundraising platform, Giving.sg. Every student will receive a unique link to their school’s fundraising page, as well as a template text to use when seeking donations from family and friends via email or Whatsapp. Donations may also be given via cheque made out to Methodist Schools’ Foundation, with the name of the school clearly indicated on the back. Cash donations are discouraged.

If you would like to support the MethodistWalk 2021 fund-raising, please use the following link which will direct you to the ACS(I) fundraising page. The page also provides more information about our activity – “Walking in Step with ACS(I)”:
