ACS (INDEPENDENT)’S 2020 GCE O-LEVEL RESULTS

100.0% of the students from the Class of 2020 has qualified for Junior Colleges/Millennia Institute and the Polytechnics; School’s average L1B5 score: 12.78

Monday 11 January 2021, Singapore: Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) students who sat for the 2020 GCE O-Level Examinations received their results today in school. The cohort of 216 students achieved an average L1B5 score of 12.78 and a mean subject grade (MSG) of 2.60.

54.6% of the cohort obtained five and more distinctions (A1 and A2s) and 16.7% achieved five or more A1s.

Based on their results, 100% of the students from the Class of 2020 has qualified for Junior Colleges/Millennia Institute and the Polytechnics. In addition, the school has also seen an improved 97.7% of them being able to pursue further studies at the Junior Colleges and Millennia Institute.

In spite of the challenges that arose due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we give thanks for our teachers, parents and the ACS Board of Governors, the ACS(I) Board of Management, the ACSOBA, and stakeholders, who rallied together to support our 2020 cohort of O-Level students. As the Class of 2020 continues with their pursuits after the O-Levels, it is our hope that they will continue to make a positive difference to the people and community around them.
